Course Fonts
Fonts, sometimes called “font software,” are digital files that contain not only data describing the shapes of letters, but also information about how they should fit together and much more. We choose fonts based on the roles played by the text using those fonts. A font used in a comical greeting card is not likely to be useful in one expressing condolence. A header at the top of a page (like the one above) may well use a different font than the text in the body of a page (like this text).
