What’s the Problem Here?
Recall that at the end of the novel project I suggested that you package the document, the process laid out in “Package” (page 346). That is, use InDesign’s package function to create a folder that contains copies of the InDesign file, its linked images in their own folder (called “Links”), and any fonts it may use (other than Adobe Fonts and a few others).
For InDesign users, the word “link” is a synonym for “image” or “graphic.” But for people new to InDesign, that word is mysterious. They understandably wonder if it means hyperlinks or possibly sausages.
