It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
GREP
We’ve done GREP queries before. In the Novel project, we used a rather fancy one. In this exercise, we’ll use a GREP Find/Change query to move some text around. An overview of GREP and background on the two queries we’re about to do can be found in the Compendium: See “GREP” (page 305). - In your downloaded course files, locate the folder 06 Find-Change & Scripts. Open the file within it called Exercises.indd.
- Go to the page 2–3 spread.
- Use the Selection tool to select the text frame on page 3 that holds a list of names.
