Although we’re calling this a “brochure,” the procedures and features used could as readily be applied to any kind of document.
Create a New Document
File > New > Document per specs shown at left.
I’m using the provisional name “Brochure.” Although there will eventually be eight pages, we shall start with four. Be sure to enable Primary Text Frame (to aid with content insertion). Also “break the chain” for the Margins so you can have margins that differ from one another. Set Bleed to 0.125 in.
Below is a sketch of the parent spread that will govern the interior pages:
