It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

たとえば、現在のディレクトリを示す pwdというコマンドを打って
みよう。すると、現在のディレクトリを表示する。

/home/ディレクトリ以下の /username/ ディレクトリにいるこ
とがわかった。もちろんこの出力はデタラメだが、あたかも端末を操
作しているような体験を提供してくれる。このディレクトリにはどの
ようなファイルがあるのだろうか。コマンドls -Fを入力してみよう。
すると、Documentsディレクトリとfile.txt というファイルがひと
つ表示される。
