第1章では、大規模言語モデルという革新的技術の登場で、私たち
の生活や仕事のやり方がどのように変わるのかを見た。第2章では、
大規模言語モデルを活用する上での核心となる技術「プロンプトエン
ジニアリング」とは何か、第3章と第4章ではその具体的なプロンプト
作成の技術について紹介した。
第5章では言語的な指示を超えて、記憶の持ち方や記憶へのアクセ
ス方法にも工夫を凝らした技術について紹介した。モデルの外部に用
意したドメイン知識を活用する RAG と呼ばれるパラダイムや、モデル
が独自の経験と内省を記憶して将来の行動を生成するLLM-as-Agent
と呼ばれるパラダイムだ。
もしAI エージェントが自分自身やこの世界に関わる長期的な記憶と
経験を持ち、それを言語的な能力によって統合し、行動の計画と意思
決定を行う能力を得るとしたら、そこにはどのような可能性が広がっ
