I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Planning Milestones
Putting dates on milestones helps you gauge where your project is, and if you are ahead of time or behind schedule. You can think of these milestones as places to evaluate where you are in your project cycle, and how good your estimates are in implementing particular components. Some of the hardest things to gauge in any project are the unknowns that accompany a project. Especially when you are working with a third-party system such as the Facebook platform, unknown glitches can pop up (e.g., they remove a particular feature that you are using, or change its behavior), and these milestones can help you evaluate where you are, where you are going, and how well you are sticking to your plan.
