It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Frameworks
Various attempts have been made to capture semantics. Lee Orbs, for example,
has created the Semantic/Ontology Spectrum, and it has been enhanced in
Mills Davis’s paper entitled “The Semantic Wave” (see Figure 11.5). Note that
the terms in this figure are explained below.
Figure 11.5 shows ways that technology has endeavored to collect seman-
tics, leading to richer forms of knowledge representation and toward the goal of
knowledge being able to create new knowledge in the form of reasoning. Some
