So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

All of these techniques involve business metadata in some way, even cultural
emphasis. As discussed earlier in this chapter, the enabling factors that encour-
age knowledge sharing can be measured, and not only are these enabling fac-
tors themselves business metadata, but they generate metrics which is also
business metadata. Business metadata, partnered with knowledge manage-
ment, can play a huge role in assisting the enterprise in capturing some of the
intellectual capital before it walks out the door.
