So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

13.2.1 Business Rules as Business Metadata
Business rules obviously fit into our category of business metadata. From the
start business rules have been primarily about expression of rules in busi-
ness language. The rules governing or constraining values allowed for a data
element are business metadata. Therefore, there is a natural affinity between
business rules and business metadata.
13.3 Where Are Business Rules Found?
Business rules are ubiquitous. When they are written down, they are most com-
monly found in policy and procedures manuals and in system documentation as well.
