When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Phase mod ulation can be considered as a special form of QAM where the amplitude remains
constant and only the phase is changed. By doing this, the number of possible combinations
is halved.
Although QAM appears to increase the efficiency of transmission by utilizing both amplitude
and phase variations, it has a number of drawbacks. The first is that it is more susceptible to
noise because the states are closer together, so that a lower level of noise is needed to move
the signal to a different decision point. Receivers for use with phase or frequency modulation
can both use limiting amplifiers that are able to remove any amplitude noise and thereby
improve the noise reliance. This is not the case with QAM. The second limitation is also
