I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Setting up calls
The process of setting up a call needs to be managed carefully. When the mobile is turned on it is
not allocated a channel, time slot or chip code, dependent upon the type of access method used.
Without being allocated a channel, it needs to be able to communicate with the base station. Also,
calls need to be set up in both directions. In other words, it needs to be able to make a call if the
user wants to call someone, and it also needs to be able to respond to incoming calls. To be able to
respond to an incoming call there is a further complication, because the network needs to know
where the mobile is in order to be able to route ...
