I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Reverse control channel
The RECC uses a 48-bit word which is repeated five times, making a 240-bit sequence. The
mobiles transmit on the channel only when instructed to do so, or when accessing the system.
As a result, there may be times when it appears to be unoccupied.
There are three main messages that are carrie d by the RECC, and these are registration, or igination
and page response. The registration mess age is sent by the mobile before any calls are set up.
The mobile needs to be accepted onto the network prior to either receiving or sending any calls.
Origination messages are also required. These are sent when a number is dialled and the mobile
communicates this with the network. Finally, responses are required when a mobile is paged to
