It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What’s the Technique?
Card sorting allows us to gather data on where people think the individual parts of our product should be shown or what parts belong together.
Consider doing card sorts if your product is complex enough that you have to “sort things.” For example, if you’re designing a site and have to decide how to organize the individual pages, or you’re working on an application that offers lots of different features that have to be organized in a way that makes sense to your users, this chapter is for you.
