When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating spawning sites
Within the sandbox area, select three areas to serve as spawn points. Where you create them is up to you. Placing them at equal distances from one another would be a good approach. To make these spawn points obvious, let's create a spawn pad and then copy it and place it at various points in the sandbox.
Here are the steps to create the spawn pad:
- In the Hierarchy panel, right-click Sandbox and select 3D Object | Cylinder.
- In the Inspector panel, rename the Cylinder to SpawnPad1.
- Click Transform | Scale and change the scale of SpawnPad1 as follows:
- x = 3
- y = 0.05
- z =3
- Test the scale of the pad by placing it under the Cucumber Man. It should look similar to what is shown in the following screenshot. Make adjustments ...
