I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Statistical summary of vector layers
Suppose we have a shapefile that has a numeric field and we want to look at a summary of its statistics, including the count, mean, variance, and quantile. This can be very easily done using the Statistics panel of QGIS. We'll now show the step-by-step process of doing this:
- Open BGD_adm3_data_re.shp.
- Click on View and then click on Statistical Summary:
