Raster mosaic

Usually, the area of interest for our task will not be covered by a single raster image. As raster data is provided in tiles, by adding two or more tiles, we can get coverage of the complete area of interest. This technique of tiling images together is called mosaic, and in QGIS, we can do this in two ways: using the Merge tool and using Processing Toolbox.

We have two multi-band raster pictures. We'll learn how to mosaic two raster images using Merge:
