So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Mapset
A mapset is a required subdirectory under a location that contains spatial data. Using a mapset, a project can be subdivided into different regions. There are two types of mapset:
- Permanent: This type of mapset contains read-only data.
- Owner: This contains project-specific spatial data.
