When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Changing projection systems
We can reproject from one projection system to another in QGIS. This is sometimes necessary when we need to work with two or more rasters that have different projection systems. In such cases, we need to reproject rasters into a common projection system before we can proceed. We'll now reproject a landsat image of Bangladesh from EPSG:32646 to EPSG: 3106. The steps required are described here:
- Click on Raster, then click on Projections, followed by a click on Warp (reproject):
- Select the band 4 image LC08_L1TP_137043_20180410_20180417_01_T1_B4 in the folder found at All_Data | Mosaic | 1 for Input layer. Now ...
