Groups

There are multiple types of groups in Exchange Online. The types include distribution lists, dynamic distribution lists, security groups, and Office 365 groups. If you've already read Chapter 1, The Office 365 Administration Portal, you might be wondering where the mail-enabled security groups went. The fact is, this is Exchange Online; everything here is mail enabled. Security group in Exchange Online is automatically a mail-enabled security group. You won't see the security groups that aren't mail enabled:
