Synopsis
<cftrace>
Traces execution of a ColdFusion page.
Logs and optionally displays customizable debugging information about
the trace. Trace information is automatically written to a log file
named cftrace.log, stored in
\cfmxroot\logs. The log entry is made using the
cflog tag behind the scenes. Debugging must be
enabled in the ColdFusion Administrator in order to use
cftrace.
The log file generated by cftrace follows a
standard format. The first line of each log file contains a
comma-delimited list of column headers, qualified with double quotes,
that looks like this:
"Severity","ThreadID","Date","Time","Application","Message"
When an entry is made to the log file, the values that are written to each column are also qualified with double quotes and delimited with commas. The values written to the log file are:

Severity The severity of the trace point as defined by the
typeattribute of thecftracetag.-
ThreadID The ID of the thread that serviced the page request.

Date Date the trace took place.

Time Time the trace took place.

Application Name of the application as defined in the application’s
cfapplicationtag. If nocfapplicationtag exists for the page being traced, a blank entry is made in the log file.-
Message Contains information about the trace point, including execution time up until the trace point occurred, the full path to the template containing the trace, the line number where the trace occurred, user-defined category for the trace, the name of the ...
