I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Custom Summary Formula in Summary and Matrix reports
In the Summary report, the custom summary formula can be displayed at:
- All summary levels: This would be similar to field summarize
- Grand summary only: This is the same with the grand total
- Grouping: This has levels 1 or 2 or 3 (depending on how many levels of grouping are added to the report)
The preceding screenshot is taken from a Summary report with two levels of grouping, Opportunity Owner and Type.
For the Matrix report, the custom summary formula can be displayed at:
- All summary levels.
- A specific row/column grouping level...; selecting this option will give you the option ...
