I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Sharing a dashboard snapshot to Chatter feed
If you remember, in Chapter 11, Advanced Tips and Tricks for Reports and Dashboards, we explained the ability to post dashboard snapshots to the dashboard feed or user/group feed from Salesforce in web browsers. You can do the same from the Salesforce1 app. You can post the dashboard snapshot to your feed, and mention another user or Chatter group as follows:
- Open the dashboard from the Salesforce1 app.
- Select the dashboard component by tapping on it; notice the blue dash line around the component--the expand icon will appear at the top-right corner of the chart. This is shown in the following screenshot:
