It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating report and dashboard folders
Creating a report folder and dashboard folder in Salesforce is pretty simple. As long as you have the right permission, you should see the New Folder button in the Reports tab to create a report folder, and the New Folder button in the Dashboards tab to create a dashboard folder. You need to have the appropriate permissions to be able to create the report and dashboard folders. We'll discuss permissions in detail later in this chapter.
Let's have a quick hands-on exercise to create a report folder. Remember, each report needs to be stored in a folder, so it is good for you to understand the folder itself in more detail.
