So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Manage Reports in Public Folders permission
The Manage Reports in Public Folders permission requires the following permissions: View Reports in Public Folders, Edit My Reports, and Create Report Folders. With this permission, users will be able to access and edit all reports in the public reports folder.
On top of that, this permission also allows users to share, edit, and delete any public report folder, so this is a very powerful permission.
Be very careful to give this permission only to those users who absolutely need it. Make sure users with this permission will not mess up important reports created by other users.
