I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Filtering by Role Hierarchy
For the opportunity report, we have an additional report to filter the report by Role Hierarchy. This filter will be visible when you run the report, not when you configure the report in the report builder.
Once you apply the filter, the data will be filtered to show only opportunities owned by users in that role, including all users under Users in that role hierarchy.
But if you would like to filter the opportunities owned by a specific user, narrow your Role Hierarchy filter by selecting the role and then select a user. Check the following screenshot for filtering opportunity report with Role Hierarchy:
