I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Changing the component chart types
We can't create a dashboard from scratch in Salesforce1, and it doesn't seem that you need to create a dashboard on the go, but you can change the component chart in the Salesforce1 app, although you may not be able to save it. Let's discuss this in detail:
- Open the dashboard from the Salesforce1 app.
- Tap on the dashboard component; the expand icon will appear at the top-right corner of the chart.
- Tap on the expand icon to open the chart in full screen.
- Look for and tap on the gear icon, which is located below the notification icon.
- The system will offer you the opportunity to change the chart type for easy analysis of the data.
- Tap Done when finished. The chart will change, but will not be saved.
