When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Edit My Dashboards permission
We mentioned the Edit My Reports permission in an earlier section. Edit My Dashboards is a similar kind of permission, but for dashboards. It allows users to edit, move, save, and delete dashboards created by them in public dashboard folders.
When a user has access to the folder, the user is able to save a dashboard to that folder. The user access to that folder is only as Viewer. The user is also able to edit and delete reports created by themselves in a public dashboard folder where the user has Viewer access.
This permission should not be given to standard users, as it will allow the user to overwrite dashboards created by other users; access is given to that dashboard folder which has access only as ...
