I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Standard Report Type
When you click on the New Report button from the Reports tab, you will be presented with a list of the Report Type categories as shown in the following screenshot:
There are two types of Standard Report Types:
- The report type that comes with Salesforce for standard objects, such as Contacts & Accounts. You can easily distinguish this report type, as it will have a Preview when you select that report type when creating a new report.
