This workflow, shown in Figure 5.15, provides resources that ensure the operational system continues to meet the needs of the business and its users by responding to requests for help, changes, and reports of failures. After evaluation, each selected request is allocated an owner and is added to the work schedule. System maintenance is as much a state of mind as a development phase.
