So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Patterns
Patterns are gaining in popularity, thanks in part to Gamma et al. Although over-complicated through complex technical definitions, the concept of patterns is relatively useful in component- and service-based development. Select Perspective provides a set of component patterns describing technical architecture components and their usage. The Select Perspective patterns were introduced briefly in Chapter 3 and are supplied as UML models within Select Component Factory.
