IF YOU HAVE an iPhone with dual cameras (at the time of this writing that includes the iPhone 7 Plus, 8 Plus, and the iPhone X), the iOS camera app has a Portrait mode. As the name suggests, this is designed for portraiture, but it can be used with other subjects as well. Portrait mode uses the 58mm portrait or telephoto lens to take the photo, but it uses the wide-angle lens to help the camera identify the main subject versus the background. It then creates a depth map to apply real-time blurring to the background.
