I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
22. MOVE THE HORIZON LINE
LANDSCAPE SCENES ALWAYS have a horizon line. While it may not be visible, other types of scenes have an implied horizon line, which you can see in the horizontal lines of windows, doors, floors, and ceilings. Where you choose to place this horizon line within the frame of the image is a conscious choice that can result in very different compositions.
It’s common for the horizon line to be centered in the frame. This results in an even division of the top and lower parts of the scene. This may work for some images, but it’s a bit boring. You can often get better results by playing around with where you place the horizon. ...
