It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

THE PURPOSE OF this chapter (and, indeed, the whole book) is not to cover every possible type or genre of photography you might pursue with your iPhone, but to provide an overview of important technical skills and conceptual approaches you can use to control how your images look. With every photograph you make, you will learn something that will eventually find its way into other images and photographic situations you encounter. Even the mistakes are valuable! In fact, it’s likely that you’ll learn more from the shots that don’t work out than you will from the immediately successful shots.
