I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
15. LOOK FOR ALTERNATE VIEWS
THERE’S SOMETHING SPECIAL about that first impulse to make a photograph, that initial spark of inspiration when a subject grabs our attention, when we can see the image standing apart from the scene surrounding it. When the “I see a photo” light bulb clicks on, reach for the camera and take that first shot.
If you frame the shot and everything aligns just right, it might turn out to be a really good image. If not, you’ve gotten that first shot out of your system, and you’ve opened a door. Step through that door and look closer and deeper to see what other compositional possibilities exist. Ask yourself what other ways ...
