7.6. A Pseudo Command Set for VRRP Configurations
Now that we have discussed in some detail the tables relevant to the operation and control of a VRRP virtual router to complete our insight of the subject, let us walk through a possible MIB configuration scenario. To do this, rather than using the rather machine-friendly syntax of the SNMP, we shall make up an SNMP-like pseudo-command-line syntax to describe a configuration. An actual command-line example is discussed in Chapter 8. For our purely didactic purpose here, let us assume that we are dealing with the settings introduced early in this chapter under the label virtual routers with single interfaces and imagine that we are configuring the VRRP router R1.
