So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 9. VRRP Configuration Using a Graphical User Interface
The Graphical User Interface (GUI) is popularly used to configure many network elements and is useful for both element provisioning and network management. The individual router and switch vendors normally provide element management framework with each device, and some provide network management software with GUI that is capable of network discovery of various vendor devices as well as configuration and monitoring. Tools such as Site Manager and Contivity GUI fall into the former category, while tools such as Optivity, Spectrum and HP Openview fall into the latter category.
