8.3. Basic VRRP Configuration
This section looks into all the configuration knobs for the different vendors. Consider Figure 8-1. Here we have a default router V1 with R1 as the master backed up by router R2. Let's take this as an example for basic configuration of VRRP.

The most straightforward VRRP configuration over Ethernet requires only that the following be configured at the [edit interfaces interface-name unit logical-unit- number family inet address address] hierarchy level. An interface can be a member of one or more VRRP groups.
