dialer caller — interface
Synopsis
dialer callernumber[callback] no dialer callernumber[callback]
Configures
Caller ID screening
Default
Disabled
Description
This command configures a dialer interface to reject calls that do
not match the given number. The
number can be any phone number; the
character x can be used as a wildcard. The
callback keyword enables Caller ID callback; in
this case, the incoming call is refused, and the router initiates a
call to the Caller ID number. This may help you to manage your
telephone charges.
This feature is available only on certain routers with special dialer interfaces. A switch that supports Caller ID is also required for this operation. If you enable this feature and do not have the required hardware for Caller ID, all calls are denied.
Example
The following command allows any number from 4105554290 through 4105554299:
dialer caller 410555429x
