exec-timeout — line
exec-timeoutminutes[seconds] no exec-timeout
The time an EXEC session can be idle
10 minutes
This command sets the amount of time a session waits for user input
before timing out and closing the session.
minutes specifies the number of minutes in
the timeout period; seconds specifies the
number of seconds.
Don’t set the EXEC timeout to be extremely short; for example,
don’t give a command like exec-timeout
0
1. You may never get back
into your router without doing a configuration recovery.
The following command sets the timeout period to 4 minutes and 59 seconds:
exec-timeout 4 59
