It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Description
This command defines an area to be a stub area. A stub area receives
a default summary route from the ABR for destinations outside the
autonomous system. The no-summary option makes the
area a Totally Stubby network, which restricts LSA Type 3 packets
(intra-area summaries) from entering the stubby area.
