Description
Specifies the dial string for the interface’s modem. Table 15-7 shows the codes that can be used in the dialer string. This command is used only for legacy dial-on-demand routing (DDR); on modern routers, it’s more flexible to use dialer pools or dialer map statements, which allow more than one destination to be called.
The class option names the dialer map associated
with this dialer string.
