terminal escape-character ASCII-value
The escape character for the terminal line
Ctrl-^ (Control+Shift-6)
This command sets the value for the escape terminal character to
ASCII-value, which is the ASCII value for
the desired character. The escape character is used to escape certain
processes in a router. For example, if you are pinging a device that
isn’t responding, you can cancel the ping by typing the escape
character.
