Introduction
In the previous chapter, the experimental observation of a dipole-like pat-
tern in the polar variation of the wave electric eld intensity in the central
plasma region was reported. The observation provided a major support for
the development of the wave–plasma interaction model in the bounded,
inhomogeneous magnetoplasma in the multicusp (MC). Rotation of the
polarization axis with respect to vacuum case and distortion of the dipole
