Engaged Versus Victim Mentality
When initial gains in employee engagement are not continued, by the time an organization recognizes what has happened, it is too late—the hole has been dug. It will take a long time for an organization to recover. Why? By focusing on only one aspect of the engagement equation (the manager), an organization discounts any others and promotes the idea that those other drivers have little or no value, power, or impact.
