It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Rule Definition Interface
The screen where rules of the type Calculate A Fee can be defined is shown in Figure
20.2.
The main design points in this screen are as follows:

The selected target column, and the table it belongs to, are shown at the top
of the screen. It is assumed that all columns required to define any rule exist
within one table. If this assumption is not correct, the functionality has already
been built in previous rule types to deal with additional tables.

The user selects the columns that represent the Fee Base and Fee Rate. Only
numeric columns in the table where the target column is located are displayed.
