So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
This program code first deletes all data from TAB_TABLE_M. Then it reads all
the records in the imported data table IMPT_IMPORTTAB_M and, as long as there
is a table name, it adds a record to TAB_TABLE_M.
We now have successfully imported the entity metadata from the ERWin data
modeling tool and populated the first table in our repository, TAB_TABLE_M. If
you open up TAB_TABLE_M you will see the data that has been imported.
It is assumed that when the table data is being imported, no column or rela-
tionship data has yet been imported. If such data is present, it should be deleted
before table data is imported.
