I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Anyone involved in designing and building a business rules engine will have plenty
to think about from the technical perspective. Yet, it is important to keep in mind
that there will be many other parties involved in the implementation and operation
of the rules engine after it is built. Designing and building the rules engine is, there-
fore, only a part of a larger picture, but it is critically important that the rules engine
designer be able to clearly understand what that picture is. In particular the designer
needs to think about who is going to define the business rules and when this will be
done. These considerations can strongly influence the design of the rules engine, and
indeed they should. There are many different actors who can be involved ...
