So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

THE ROLLING STONES STICKY FINGERS ALBUM COVER

I remember being very impressed with those bulging pants and the actual, real zipper that was featured on this 1971 Sticky Fingers Rolling Stones album. I was touched by the unexpectedness as well as the obvious commitment of the designer and the record label to go through such a production nightmare. It raised interesting questions: “Will we see Mr. Jagger naked upon opening?” and “Was the fact that the zipper scratches the cover next to it designed deliberately?”
However, not everybody was impressed by the cover in the same way. When we got a chance to design the latest Stones album, I actually met Mick Jagger and Charlie ...
