I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This Polish poster was designed by Leszek Holdanowicz in 1963 for the documentary movie Requiem for 500 Thousand, on the history and tragic end of the Warsaw Ghetto under German occupation during World War II.
It looks like a simple layout built from easily recognizable elements: a menorah and candle flames. Only with a closer look at the flames, one can discern the hands emerging from darkness, signing to us with simple gestures of people swallowed by the ghetto fire—or perhaps only their souls trying to tell us something. In the history of posters, in Poland and beyond, we could count only a handful of works that are equally moving and timeless. Struck by ...
